Butlers Pantry Outside Catering

Outside Catering – see our buffet menu page. A variety of menus are available for your private parties/ celebrations.

Equipment Hire – We hire out all crockery, cutlery, linen & glassware and celebration cakes can be ordered (prices upon application).

BBQ’s – see our buffet menu page For something a little different we have a variety of BBQ menus available.

Dinner Parties – Why hold dinner parties and spend all the time in the kitchen? We can tailor make a menu for you, prepare, cook and serve your meal and clear away. Prices are dependent upon menu chosen and chef / waiter labour charges would apply.

Private Bistro Parties – The Butler’s Pantry may be hired out for your private party any evening and Sunday lunch (subject to availability). A minimum of 10 guests is required and we can seat a maximum of 22 guests comfortably. The benefit of booking with us instead of a large restaurant or hotel is that you will have sole use of our bistro, service will be specific to your party only, menus can be individually tailored & we have a selection of fine wines & locally sourced ales.  We can also arrange a speciality cake if required

Formal Dining – We specialise in corporate/ formal dining for numbers up to 500+ at your chosen venue. We are the nominated caterers for a number of prestigious venues primarily throughout the East Midlands, Derbyshire & Staffordshire areas, however our events team will travel anywhere in the UK.

Wedding Catering – We are one of the leading wedding caterers in the Midlands & have a diverse selection of venues to recommend (including marquees).  In addition to our wedding catering, we can offer a bar service & event planning to ensure that your wedding is co-ordinated by one team.  Please see our wedding page for further details.

Event Management – We are passionate about events and all our events staff are dedicated to providing quality service whilst giving your event a unique identity. We have a strong influence in the hospitality sector and work alongside highly professional companies who are as energetic about your needs as we are.

Gourmet Evenings – We hold  speciality evenings throughout the year (see our calendar of events page) including Wine Tasting, Russian Banquets, Burns Night, Taste of Game, Lobster & Seafood & themed evenings

Hen & Stag nights – We can provide bespoke in-house dining for your celebration with a complete chef & waiter service, plus a demonstration of ‘spun sugar’ at the table to your guests (if required!). We can highly recommend Peak District accommodation at, www.ashbourneselfcatering.co.uk or alternatively there is self contained accommodation in beautifully renovated Victorian stables local to The Butlers Pantry with excellent meeting & conference rooms at www.stableslodge.co.uk

Two weeks on and just coming down to earth. What an amazing day which was made so special by you and your team Ralph. Our Wedding Day was going to be Low Key, Small Scale, but it seemed to develop a life of its own and eventhough the numbers remained small the expectations developed into "Nothing but the best" from my wedding dress, the flowers the rings, the drink, everything. We had chosen the Butlers Pantry with only the experience of a lovely breakfast on one other occasion because it was local and Ralph seemed very personable and professional. Fortunately our home was able to accomodate our 31 guests, but I did worry that having the wedding reception on site might be rather stressful. I needn't have worried. The day before the wedding Ralph and team delivered his equipment with no fuss. On the day the first we saw of them was as we returned from the church as the smartly dressed staff quietly and professionally served us the Champagne and beautiful Canapes. At this time my brain had disappeared after the nerves of the service but fortunately there was Roy the Master of Ceremonies who gently steered the proceedings and us so the everything flowed smoothly from the meal to thespeache. It was wonderful to have somebody to rely on to know the right thing to do at the right time so we didn't have to think of anything except enjoying ourselves, whilst the waiters quietly, efficiently and politely served the meal. We did expect the food to be good with Ralphs reputation, but we were not prepared for the high standard that we received. My expectations are very high because I work in hospitality in a High profile area and I have to say that the quality of the food was of a superior standard which could have graced the best tables. Our guests were thrilled and so were we. I have never had such a wonderful meal on a large scale. So thank you Ralph and helpers for playing such a large part in creating one of the best days we have ever had.
