A New Year Russian Banquet Evening £38.00 per person – The Mezzanine
Once again we welcome our ‘Russian‘ host Cathy McAteer for an evening of Russian wonderment. Start the evening with a traditional Russian welcome of obligatory vodka shot with Bread & Salt, Russian banquet food served through the evening & marvel at Cathy’s tales & facts of ‘All Things Russian’. You’ll finish the evening with Russian Caravan tea and there’ll also be a licensed bar available. Friday 1st March – Shellfish & Fish Cookery Demonstration Evening £30.00 per person FULL
Learn how to prepare & cook a variety of shellfish & fish in our ‘Wild Chef Mezzanine Theatre’

Friday 12th April – ‘From Fur to Fork – One Whole Venison’ Cookery Demonstration Evening £30.00 per person FULL
One whole venison in the fur will be skinned, butchered & cooked into a variety of different dishes. Welcome drink on arrival, selection of canapés served throughout the evening, cookery demonstrations with tastings, cheeseboard supper with glass of port, tea & coffee plus cash bar available. A perfect informal evening for the country loving foodie!
Wednesday 14th August – Glorious Grouse Week £30.00 per person
In celebration of The Gorious Grouse! You will have the opportunity to sample various grouse dishes known as ‘King of the Game Birds’. The evening includes a welcome drink, canapés, cookery demonstrations with tastings, cheeseboard supper & cash bar.

Wednesday 18th September – Wood Pigeon Workshop, £15.00 per person
Prepare and cook your own wood pigeon from the feather to the fork. This two hour cookery evening will be held in our fully accessible kitchen area with a maximum of 12 guests only, so secure your place! Un-limited tea and coffee whilst you prepare & cook your bird.
Friday 4th October – 7 Course Lobster and Seafood Dinner, £50.00 per person
Our very popular 7 course Lobster and Seafood Dinner served in our Mezzanine, evening starts at 7pm. In celebration of fish & shellfish from around the British shore line.
Friday 22nd November ‘An Alternative Christmas Roast’ – Pheasant, Partridge & Duck, £30.00 per person
Fed up of Turkey? Book a place on our Alternative Christmas Roast cookery demonstration evening – a great sociable and relaxing evening before the madness begins! Welcome glass of mulled wine, cookery demonstrations with tastings of pheasant, partridge & duck, a selection of festive canapés, tea or coffee with stollen, home made mince pies, chocolate torte & brandy cream
Wednesday 4th December Christmas Canapé & Chutney Afternoon (1pm-3pm) £15.00 per person
Learn the art of making simple, delicious Christmas canapés and a selection of chutneys to impress your guests. Glass of mulled wine on arrival, demonstrations with tastings & a jar of Christmas chutney to take away.
A Christmas raffle will also be taking place during this event (£1.00 per ticket) with all proceeds going to the Derby Me and Dee Charity (who help families with life limiting conditions to create lasting memories, charity registration number 1146147) – book individually or as a group. A fun & sociable afternoon with friends.
