Smoked haddock chowder with pawns & cockles in a creamy fish stock with kale & fine cut potatoes, served with cheese crisps

Home cured fillet of mackerel on roasted beets and scallops, pan fried with leeks and drizzled with a clear tomato sauce

Fillet of Plaice & Crab on Tagliatelle

Fillet of plaice grilled with capers and Derbyshire rapeseed oil, finished on tagliatelle pasta with home made green pesto & Whitby crab

Loin of Monkfish with Mussels

Loin of monkfish wrapped with spinach and pancetta, pan fried and finished on mussels in the shell, cooked with a little garlic, shallots, white wine and cream, finished with fresh parsley

Half Lobster Thermidor

Half lobster cooked with shallots, fish stock, wine, brandy, a little English mustard, cream & herbs, served in the shell topped with mature cheddar cheese

Half Lobster Newburg

Lobster cooked with butter, cream, sherry, cognac and cayenne pepper, thickened with egg yolks

Main courses served with sautéed potatoes

Dessert

A creamy light Limoncello creme brullee with a burnt sugar top, simply finished with biscuit wafers

Tea or coffee served with assorted hand made chocolates
