Burns Night Take-Away Menu

BURNS NIGHT – MONDAY 25TH JANUARY 

We would usually be planning our bistro evenings, with our first one being a Burns Night Supper.  For the foreseeable future however, we’ll be offering a collection service for you to enjoy our meals at home, and this is how our ‘Burns Night Bistro’ on Monday 25th January will work.

Pre-order either main course only (£8.00), two courses (£12.00) or three courses (£16.00) from the menu below by Thursday 21st January by one of the following methods-

Please let us know the time you would like to collect from our Unit on 25th (between 5pm and 8pm)

We will provide payment details upon receipt of you order

Your meal will be hot & all packaged up for you to take home, just add your own Whisky & enjoy!

MENU

Starter

‘Cullen Skink’

A creamy soup of smoked haddock flakes, potato, onions and fresh herbs in a rich stock, finished with crumbled egg & toasted sourdough breaded croutes

Main Course

‘Haggis Pie,  Neeps and Tatties’ with a Whisky Sauce (or rich stock sauce)

Home made ‘filled to the brim’ haggis shortcrust pastry pie with an accompaniment of  ‘Bashit Neeps’ and ‘Chappit Tatties’ with a creamy whisky sauce (or rich stock sauce)

Dessert

Cranachan

Whipped cream with Scottish honey and mellow whisky, topped with a raspberry compote & toasted almonds with home made ‘Scottish’ shortbread’
