Roast Turbot and Scallop on Fennel Veloute

Roast fillet of turbot on crushed fresh tomato, lemon and thyme vierge sauce with seared scallops, chervil and pancetta on a fennel veloute

‘Bouillabaisse’ Broth

Mussels and clams cooked with onions, fennel, tomatoes, wine, a little garlic, cloves, bay leaf, thyme, marjoram and saffron with strips of lightly home smoked mackerel, cod, salmon & prawns in a rich fish stock, served with sliced baguette

Cornish Grilled Sardines on Cornish Crab Cake

Butterflied sardines grilled with rosemary, lime and crushed roast garlic, finished on a Cornish crab cake with dill, drizzled with salsa verde and caramelised red onion

Main Course

Half Lobster Thermidor

Half lobster cooked with shallots, fish stock, wine, brandy, a little English mustard, cream & herbs, served in the shell topped with mature cheddar cheese

Main course served with sautéed potatoes

Dessert

Creamy rhubarb & ginger creme brullee with a ‘burnt’ sugar crust, finished with a variety of crisp wafers and a pearl of lemon sorbet

Tea or coffee with home made chocolate £3.50 per person
